Ed Wood attended the University of Virginia where he earned BSCE and MECE degrees in Civil Engineering. For more than 20 years he held engineering and construction management positions building petrochemical plants and leading environmental remediation and restoration projects.

Responding to the call to serve the needs of individuals, families and business owners, he pivoted into the role of financial advisor, joining the predecessor of uFinancial Group in 1999.

As an Advisor, Ed leverages his education, experience, and relationship-building strengths to help clients purposefully pursue their financial objectives, and accomplish joyful outcomes.

A student of and investor in the capital markets and risk management for more than 40 years, Ed is passionate about helping people navigate the road toward financial independence. This journey is grounded in the comprehensive financial advice he provides. Ed works alongside his clients while developing a financial plan, providing recommendations, monitoring progress and adjusting to changing circumstances.

Away from the office, Ed is committed to his faith and engages in activities that have a positive impact on the community. Ed is blessed with an amazing wife and two incredible daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, that includes three grandchildren, and travelling with friends.
